hinge for micromanipulator

Hinge for Transferman 4m/4r. Enables faster replacement of dishes or micromanipulation pipettes. Unlike the original hinge which enables the motor movement only in the horizontal direction, The LifeM Hinge/Swivel allows partially vertical movement of the X-motor opening. The dish with a high rim can be replaces easier and faster.

The LifeM setup is in fact the same Trasnferman 4r micromanipulator with an advanced opening swivel , an improvement that makes the ICSI operation faster and more safe.

The difference is that the original Calibre swivel moves/opens the X-motor only in the horizontal direction. That means that before dish replacement the operator has to first move the mikromanipulator to the Home position and only then open the arms of the micromanipulator.  

With Life M Hinge the opening is similar to what was in the Eppendorf NK2 model – means half vertical and very fast and easy avoiding the unnecessary step of moving the mikromanipulator to the Home Position.
